With Thanksgiving coming up fast here in the USA many people are confused about this holiday’s mobile nature. Thanksgiving is not date specific but rather resides on the 4th Thursday of November. So in some years we have well over 30 days after Turkey Day to get ready for Santa but some years only about 4 weeks.
So what is the earliest date Thanksgiving can occur?
When there are five Thursdays in November, Thanksgiving may not be on the last Thursday of the month. The earliest date for Thanksgiving is November 22. The latest date for Thanksgiving is November 28.
So this year we have to get the turkey cooked about week early but the good news is Christmas is a long ways off.
